Beat the Devil - Movie Download

Plot

A clever cult favorite written by Truman Capote, directed by John Huston and starring Humphrey Bogart - how can you lose? Bogart heads a superior cast in this tale of a gang of swindlers who look to purchase African lands rich in uranium. This is not the tough film noir you might expect from the people that brought you "The Maltese Falcon." The script is wicked and wry and a fine cast gives a host of eccentric performances. Repeat viewing recommended if you want to appreciate everything this classic has to offer!

Scoundrels, thieves, uranium, oh my! A wildly unconventional narrative makes this underrated Huston picture hard to follow at times, but no less enjoyable to watch. Keep an open mind, sit back and enjoy Truman Capote's witty dialog and the tremendously entertaining antics of Bogey and company. If you like the Maltese Falcon, this is a must see.
