Black Brigade
1970
Set in World War II, the movie tells the story of an African American army company charged with a mission to destroy an enemy dam. Stephen Boyd (Ben Hur) stars as a captain who is less than comfortable with the ethnic makeup of his team. He shares command with a strong-willed lieutenant played by Robert Hooks (Posse). Despite considerable strife and turmoil, everyone unites to strike against the common enemy.

Anatomy of an Illness
1984
In this inspirational film, Edward Asner (Mary Tyler Moore Show) excels in the role of Saturday Review editor Norman Cousins who became stricken with a progressive spinal illness in 1964. Possessed of an indomitable spirit, he refuses to submit to the seemingly inevitable limitations of his illness. Supported by his keen humor, and a loving and supportive wife, he is determined to prevail. The film is based on Cousins' heartwarming autobiography.
