Plot

Passionate archeology students search the Burbank mountains for Angela''s Jewel Box - an artifact lost by explorers in 1774. They have no idea its warped powers give any female who opens it, the urge to eat men. Good-natured Gary finds the box. Frustrated with his sexy girlfriend Samantha's cold shoulder, he gives it to her competitor Janet, in exchange for sex. He suddenly realizes he's about to become steak dinner, and barely escapes.

Jewels drop from the box, leaving a trail of "man-hungry" blood sucking babes in his wake. Girls turn into shameless cannibals on the street, at the beach, and even in a Burbank bar. A mysterious drifter with a secret, and the girl he loves, set out to destroy the relic before it's too late. Don't miss the surprise ending - it's definitely not for the faint-of-heart!

  This was a really good movie. I thought the special effects and the sound effects were really good. The attack scenes were entertaining and the story was interesting as well.

  This was an enjoyable film. I thought that the main actors were really good. I really loved the "Blood Sucking Babes." Very attractive cannibals! I would not want them to eat me, though.

  Great B-movie. Somebody.... fire the distributor, I just paid 19.95 at Family Video for "---- ------" not even close in quality! This movie is not getting proper respect!!!

  We saw this movie in the Pendulum Pictures "Decrepit Crypt of Nightmares" 50 pack. We thought that this was one of the better movies in that 50 pack. Though low budget, this movie kept us entertained, and some of the cast members were very good. The actors who played Zack, Samantha, The Blond Guy in the Bar, and a few others were very convincing. One of the other things I loved about Blood Sucking Babes from Burbank is that the story was very easy to follow and everything made sense.
