An affair while engaged leads a man to pass along a venereal disease to his wife. The two visit a VD clinic where they view patients that are too far gone. It scares the daylights out of them. This film is an interesting look back to a time where sexually transmitted diseases were an even more sensitive subject than they are today.

It's only worth a watch if you want to see the kind of silly propaganda they used to churn out in the 30s (along the lines of "Reefer Madness" and "Sex Madness"). Although I strongly favor education about STDs, this movie goes way overboard with the scare tactics. Get it only if you have a historical interest in that area/subject matter. |
