Fiesta & Let's Go Collegiate & Up in the Air - Movie Download

Plot

Fiesta
1941
With a tagline of "It's Terrific! It's Technicolorful! It's Gay!" this LeRoy Prinz directed musical comedy had high expectations when released by Hal Roach Studios. Though short on running time, this film was long on musical production numbers with room left over for a romantic entanglement. The plot takes you to the Mexican ranch owned by Don Hernandez (Antonio Moreno), whose niece Cholita (Anne Ayers) is returning home from Mexico City. Her return brings the expectation of marriage to her childhood sweetheart, local caballero Jose (George Negrete). However, Cholita arrives with a new fianc in tow: the pompous radio star Fernando Gomez portrayed by George Givot. With the stance that physical violence is beneath him, Jose schemes to frighten Fernando off the ranch back to Mexico City and win back Cholita.

Let's Go Collegiate
1941
This musical comedy centers on two members of a team of college oarsmen who promise their girlfriends they will win the big race. Hopes of their victory appear to be dashed when the team's best oarsman is drafted. The pair decides to help their cause by recruiting a truck driver to replace their missing crew member and pass him off as a collegian.

Up in the Air
1940
This murder mystery takes place at a radio station where an unpopular singer and other performers are murdered at the station. A page boy and his friend, the janitor, begin investigating the deaths with hopes to find the killer and also to get a chance to perform on the air. Supported by a hopeful singer and the station receptionist, the boys look into the killings while the singer fills in on the air. Our duo gets closer to the truth all the while the killer stalks them and the lovely new on air singer.
