Ginga: The Soul of Brazilian Football - Movie Download

Plot

A feature length documentary, produced by Fernando Meirelles (director of City Of God).

Brazil's great secret for dominating football on the world stage is hardly a secret at all. Brazilian football players have ginga - a bodily quality that enables them to dribble, to pass and to score as though the opponent was non-existent.

But there is a catch to it. Ginga is also a mystical quality, inherent to Brazil's youth. Ginga allows them to dream high, and try for even more. Sometimes this ginga-filled illusion is more important in itself than winning the main game.

Ginga is a way of never taking life too seriously, of fighting hardships with the proper use of toes, heels and hips.

For the last 505 years, Brazilians have been happily ginga-ing through life - and they recommend it to everybody.

Our movie "Ginga" tells the amazing stories of several Brazilians, from very different social backgrounds and parts of Brazil. they are share their passion from football and ability with ginga. They all have a dramatic compelling story to tell with each of them bringing an aspect to complement a portrait of Brazil as a unique loving mystical and fascinating culture and of course lots of music and football.
