It's A Joke Son
1947
Kenny Delmar brings his Fred Allen radio show character, Senator Claghorn, to the big screen in this comedy from Eagle-Lion Productions. Senator Claghorn, a southern gentleman proud of his heritage and anything Southern, is convinced to run for state senator by a group of crooked northern politicians. The group plans to have Senator Claghorn run against his wife in hopes that he will divide the vote so their true candidate can win the election.
Zis Boom Bah
1942
After being separated for 20 years, a vaudeville performer decides to reunite with her son. Finding him as a student at Midwick College, she at first observes him from afar but eventually meets him face to face. So taken with her son after being away from him so long, the vaudevillian decides to buy a cafe for her son, which he and his friends in turn make it over into a successful dinner theatre.
East Side Kids
1940
A former street gang member is now a policeman and attempts top keep the kids in his former gang on the straight and narrow. A friend of his, and former gang member with him, is scheduled to be executed for a murder the policeman is sure he didn't commit. Investigating the murder with the help of his friend's younger brother, now a current member of the gang, the two men race against time to try and save the life of an innocent man.
