Kansas Pacific
1953
Set prior to the start of the Civil War but after the South has seceded from the United States, Kansas Pacific centers on the efforts to build a railroad across Kansas toward the West Coast. Southern sympathizers attempt to sabotage the railroad construction efforts so Army Captain John Nelson (Sterling Hayden) is brought in to keep the project going. Captain Nelson must not only contend with the efforts of the saboteurs but also try to romance the railroad foreman's daughter, Barbara Bruce (Eve Miller). This film also features Clayton Moore, best known for his portrayal in films and on television of The Lone Ranger.
The Avenger
1962
Aeneas and his fellow Trojan warriors leave their land after the fall of Troy to find a safe haven for them and the refugees they have sworn to protect. Arriving in the land of the Etruscans, the Trojans seek to have a place of their own but are rejected by the Etruscan prince, even though his father, the king, is fine with the agreement. The friction between the Trojans and the Etruscans is further complicated when Aeneas and the Etruscan prince fall in love with the same woman.

The IA group doesn't charge for their film but the copy I have from
IA is not in color (cinecolor) and it is not in stereo like your
version. About the film, highly inaccurate ie tthe first scene
where the viewer is meeting Baton Maclaine's character and they are shot at with
wincester repeater aaahhhhhhhhhh, not possible in 1858. It didn't
exist yet. Other innacuraies are there too but it is fun film nevertheless. |
