Tony (Bobby Deol) has grown up on the streets after he was abandoned in the city. To survive, Tony learned to live by his wit and courage. From petty theft to loan recovery, Tony did everything for a price.
Sapna (Priyanka Chopra) is a rising musician who Tony falls in love with, not realizing that she was promised to be married to a doctor. He goes to make his fortune so he can compete for Sapna's hand. Tony gets an offer through his underworld connections to coerce a government officer into signing some papers. The money is good and the work is easy.
Little does Tony know that the government agent is Sapna's father and his signature will allow the release of spurious drugs in the market that will eventually kill hundreds of innocent children and get Sapna's family ostracized from society.
Tony realizes he has ruined his own dream but is unable to bear the guilt of what he has done to Sapna and her family and vows to set things right. But what has Fate in store for him eventually? Does his Kismat lend him a helping hand?
