Plot
Made for Each Other1939
Young attorney John Mason (James Stewart) and his bride Jane (Carole Lombard) face a tough first year of marriage. Facing disapproval of their marriage by his boss and his mother, the couple strives to make things work in spite of financial and family problems. Further complications arise for the newlyweds when a baby comes into the picture. A bout of pneumonia for their son forces John to beg his boss for money to fly in a serum to save the infant.

After developing a case of hiccups, a married woman visits a psychiatrist to help her with the problem. The psychiatrist believes the hiccups are caused by marital problems which are believed to be a result of his inattentiveness. A chance encounter with another of the psychiatrist's patients springs thoughts in the housewife of leaving her husband, in spite of the fact that they both still love each other. The husband comes up with a unique solution that leads to some comic results.
