Plot
Classic early Soviet-era silent film. In 1905, a young man (Nikolai Batalov) joins a revolutionary group that is planning a strike at the local factory. His father (Aleksandr Chistyakov), an abusive drunk, joins a group of strike breakers. When the strike breakers attack the strikers, the father is killed by one of the son's comrades. The young man's mother (Vera Baranovskaya) discovers a cache of weapons hidden under the floorboards by her son. She betrays her son when she naively believes the police when they assure her that they will be lenient.Related Links

Even though Apple iTunes, and just about every other legal movie download site, imposes DRM restrictions, we don't. That's because we want our customers to get the most value from their legitimate purchases.

Why is this title not for sale in my country?
EZTakes signs distribution agreements with all film owners, or their representatives. Those agreements almost always restrict us from selling some films in some countries. We very much want to be able to sell all films in more countries; however, getting the legal rights to do so is not always within our power.
