Never Wave at a WAC
1952
A divorced Washington D.C. socialite is distraught when her boyfriend, a Colonel in the Army, is stationed over in Paris. Hoping to reunite with her boyfriend, the woman joins the WACs, with the hopes that her capital connections will get her stationed over in Paris. Unbeknownst to her, her ex-husband is working for the Army and gets wind of her plans, so he sabotages her plans and has her assigned with a regular WACs outfit assigned to test equipment.
Nothing Sacred

A newspaper reporter is relegated to the obituary column after his involvement in a fraud case. With the hopes of getting back in good graces with his editor, the reporter convinces him to let him report on a woman dying of radium poisoning and take her on a tour of New York City, making her a media darling. Unfortunately, the woman is not dying which complicates things between the reporter and his editor, especially when the reporter falls in love with the woman.
