For over 40 years Junction City, Kansas was known as Sin City. Ninth Street with its notorious stretch of black-owned jazz clubs, bars, and businesses, was known as The Harlem of Kansas. Catering to the GI's of nearby Fort Riley, Ninth Street was home to winos and priests, club owners and pimps, hookers and cabbies. Holding court over this explosive mix are two resident winos, Bobo and Huddie, who try to maintain the street's traditions and standards in the face of ruthless new muscle trying to move in.
