Plot
This release presents a double feature of Hollywood classics starring leading man Fredric March: in the screwball comedy NOTHING SACRED (1937), a small-town girl (Carole Lombard) pretends to be dying from radium poisoning and falls for the newspaper reporter (March) out to expose her; in the tragic melodrama A STAR IS BORN (1937), a young ingénue (Janet Gaynor) rises to stardom while her alcoholic has-been husband (March) is in the midst of a heartbreakingly rapid decline.Related Links
