PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE is Ed Wood's unintentionally hilarious film in which aliens plan to take over the world by resurrecting only three corpses. Horror icon Bela Lugosi died during production and was replaced by a chiropractor who hid his face behind a cape. The film also features Vampira and wrestler Tor Johnson.

Quite possibly the best bad movie ever made, PLAN 9, with its hubcap flying saucers on strings, is sure to entertain.

  I'm a long time Ed Wood fan. Plan 9 and Glen or Glenda are my favorites. Many hilarious moments; flying saucers on strings, strange dialogue, overacting, and they can't even figure out if it's day or night. "Modern women, they've been that way through the ages." "The Inspector's dead, and SOMEBODY'S responsible!" Tor Johnson has a lot of lines and you can barely understand him, he's great as a zombie. The scene with Tor coming out of the grave is amazing. Bela Lugosi died before it was finished and an obvious stand in with a Dracula cape takes his place. Criswell the psychic introduces with an outrageous speech and a ridiculous hairdo. There is an added bonus with comments and anecdotes from Johnny Depp and people involved in the film. This is the best of the worst of bad movies.
