Real Talk: Hip Hop Comedy is the first documentary of its kind to go behind the scenes of urban comedy. Laughter is the best medicine, even if sometimes it has to be given raw. This is what urban comedians have been doing since arriving to the forefront of consciousness in the so-called "Def Jam Era." Your host for this journey into the world of Hip Hop Comedy is Rayzor, who was recently featured on HBO in P. Diddy's Bad Boys of Comedy. Rayzor interviews players in the comedy game on every level, from up and coming young comedians to industry veterans like Chuck Suton, founder of the infamous "Showtime at the Apollo." This documentary is packed with laughs, including stand up footage from some of the hottest young comedians in the country and hilarious interviews, but hopefully by the end, the viewer will understand where the laughter comes from. From this, they should come to realize, as a comedian Face man always says, "Comedy is tragedy turned inside out."
