Plot
In this "composed film" homage to avant-garde composer John Cage, director Henning Lohner sidesteps traditional documentary conventions, choosing instead to assemble a visual poem of found footage and experimental audio cues. Lohner honors and explores the artist's legacy directly, through the incorporation of famous concert footage, as well as thematically via staged readings that illuminate the many intellectual influences on his work. THE REVENGE OF THE DEAD INDIANS contains contributions from Cage's contemporaries and followers, including Noam Chomsky, Matt Groening, Yoko Ono, and Frank Zappa.DVD Features:
