Plot
Rock, Rock, Rock1956
Rock, Rock, Rock is a must-have for anyone who considers themselves a fan of early rock and roll music. The story centers on Dori (Tuesday Weld) who is trying to get enough money together for a prom dress after her father cuts off her charge account. This story pales in comparison to the performers featured in this film. Legendary DJ Alan Freed introduces the acts and music at the prom with performances by Chuck Berry, LaVerne Baker, Frankie Lyman and the Teenagers, The Johnny Burnett Trio, The Moonglows Jimmy Cavallo and the House Rockers, Cirino and the Bowties, The Coney Island Kids, The Flamingos, and Teddy Randazzo. An unknown Connie Francis provides the singing voice for new-comer Tuesday Weld.
King Kelly of the USA
1934
James "King" Kelly (Guy Robertson) is a theatrical producer traveling to Europe to put on his latest show. While aboard ship, Kelly falls in love with Catherine (Irene Ware), who is really Princess Tania of Belgardia traveling in disguise. Upon arriving in Belgardia, Kelly takes the guise of an efficiency expert and impresses the local government by saving the local mop industry from ruination by the on set of vacuum cleaners. Meanwhile, with Belgardia in debt to rival country Moronia, Princess Tania is forced to agree to marry Prince Alexis, the aging leader of Moronia. Kelly discovers his love's true identity and must come up with a plan to save the country and Princess Tania.
