Shot in 1987, this TV movie is set in the infamous jail known as Alcatraz. The jail was known for its reputation as an impenetrable island fortress that no one could escape from. Perhaps not surprisingly, that didn't stop people from trying. May 2, 1946 saw six inmates attempt to make their way out of the jail known as "The Rock," and this heady drama illustrates just how hard it was. David Carradine (KILL BILL), Dennis Farina (SNATCH, GET SHORTY, LAW & ORDER), and David Morse (THE ROCK, 16 BLOCKS, THE NEGOTIATOR) star.
