Spiritualism, demonic possession and apparitions are all featured in this extremely well done British horror film. Farr turns in a great performance as a man whose sanity is saved when a spiritualist materializes his dead fiancee. This atmospheric chiller is complemented by a fine, literate script and all-around good performances. Our video master was taken from the 16mm print out of the collection of the late film historian, William K. Everson.
