Plot
Stan Laurel Festival
Mud and Sand - Stan Laurel stars as Rhubarb Vaselino who, with his sidekick Sapo, enters a local bullfighting contest.
A young man becomes a local legend in Spain when he fights and kills three bulls in one day. After wedding his sweetheart and moving to Madrid, the bullfighter has become financially successful and a national hero. The bullfighter is pitted again Spain's deadliest bull in the last fight of the season, all the while risking his marriage over the affections of a woman with a questionable reputation.

Just Rambling Along - When Stan follows an attractive young lady into a cafeteria, his problems quickly multiply. This is the earliest surviving film of Stan Laurel's solo career, prior to his partnering with Oliver Hardy. Stan portrays a man down on his luck trying to get something to eat and also romance a young woman. His efforts in both areas fall far short of his expectations.

Oranges and Lemons - This hilarious short also features comedy favorites Eddie Baker and George Rowe. This early Stan Laurel solo comedy features him as an orange packer who gets into trouble with his boss and some co-workers. Trying to avoid any more problems with them, the orange packer enters the packing house and meets some of the female workers inside. Still attempting to elude his boss and co-workers, the orange packer heads into the warehouse area, to use some of the machinery to escape his angry co-workers.

Our Gang Festival
Our Gang Follies - Alfalfa lets the gang down when he opts for the world of opera, leaving them without a lead for their show. His return saves the day. Spanky and the gang are putting on a show with Alfalfa top-billed as the "King of the Crooners." But Alfalfa tells the gang his crooning days are over and leaves to join the opera. After signing a contract with the opera effective in 20 years, Alfalfa returns home and takes a nap. After dreaming of his disastrous future in opera and the success the gang has in popular music, he awakes and rushes to join the rest of the gang in time for the closing number.

School's Out - The gang schemes to deter a man whom thry believe is vying for the affection of their teacher. This Our Gang comedy classic has Miss Crabtree's brother showing up for a lunch visit and the Gang mistakes him for a suitor. Thinking that he'll marry her and take her away from the school, the Gang begins to tell him tales about how she would not be a suitable wife for him. Once the truth of the man's identity comes out, everyone has a good laugh.

Bear Shooters - The gang is determined to become skilled as Bear Shooters. Soon they face a gang of real criminals. In this Our Gang classic, the Gang head off on a camping trip in some nearby woods, hoping to get in some bear hunting on the side. Unfortunately, the Gang has decided to set up camp near a bootlegger's camp and he doesn't like the company. Hoping to scare the kids away with a gorilla costume he has, the bootlegger ends up becoming the object of the Gang's hunt.

All-Star Extravaganza
La Cucaracha - When a famous theater impressario, Senor Martinez, travels to Mexico he has a very specific agenda. Chatita (Steffi Duna), a Mexican cantina singer, is in love with the cantina's lead dancer Pancho (Don Alvarado). A famous Mexico City theater owner comes to their small town to audition Pancho for a contract with his company. Chatita decides to mess up the audition in hopes that Pancho will not get the job and stay at their cantina. Hilarity ensues as Chatita plans go awry. This live-action film from Pioneer Films was the first to use the new 3 strip Technicolor process, far superior to the old 2-color process.

The Stolen Jools - Hollywood diva Norma Shearer has been robbed during a party, and her treasured jewels are missing. This short film was made to raise funds for the National Variety Artists tuberculosis sanitarium and featured many of Hollywood's biggest stars contributing their time to this project. The "story" to tie this promotional short together involves the missing pearls of Norma Shearer and some detectives working on the case. Moving from a star-studded party to a movie studio across town, the detectives eventually learn the truth behind the missing pearls.

Ghost Parade - Another in a long line of gems from the legendary Mack Sennett comedy shorts factory. This feature was produced by Mack Sennett during the height of his film-making career and featured legendary silent screen comedians Harry Gribbon and Andy Clyde.
