Plot
Four Star Playhouse had four rotating actors. They were Dick Powell, David Niven, Charles Boyer, and Ida Lupino. Originally it was to be Dick Powell, Charles Boyer, Joel McCrea and Rosalind Russell, but that never happened. In its first year, Four Star Playhouse was on every other weeksharing its spot with the Amos 'N Andy show. Into the second season, Four Star Playhouse became weekly. Dick Powell played a character named Willie Dante, who ran Dante's Nightclub. This character was shown in several episodes. The format of the episodes varied from comedy to drama. EZTakes signs distribution agreements with all film owners, or their representatives. Those agreements almost always restrict us from selling some films in some countries. We very much want to be able to sell all films in more countries; however, getting the legal rights to do so is not always within our power.
