Plot
After six years of marriage to a distracted insurance salesman, Larry Baker (Melvyn Douglas), Jill Baker (Merle Oberson) develops a case of hiccups. A psychologist, Vengard (Alan Mowbray), diagnosis is that Jill affliction is caused by marital problems. Jill decides to enter into a new relationship with another patient of Vengard, a neurotic concert pianist named Sebastian (Burgess Meredith). Although Larry agrees to a divorce, he remains in love with Jill. Will they ever get back together?Related Links

a good three star comedy drama.bit thin on plot but fine if you like looking at a slightly blurry at times merle oberon.funny that several 1940s films linked a womans repression and mental state and the cure being a love of art and explorinG paintings.(also in dishonoured lady with hedy lamarr and a bette davis film the title of which escapes me)i laughed aloud twice i think.worth watching although burgess meredith is a bit too creepy and not lover material i feel.

EZTakes signs distribution agreements with all film owners, or their representatives. Those agreements almost always restrict us from selling some films in some countries. We very much want to be able to sell all films in more countries; however, getting the legal rights to do so is not always within our power.
