But, you get what you pay for -- this is not the restored, color-tinted Kino edition, but rather an unrestored version. That means that the picture quality won't always be the best, but it is still pretty good, at least as good as any "cheapo" version you might find. The classical score isn't bad, although, of course, it'd be better to have something akin to what a live organist would've played when this was in the theaters. Nevertheless, this is still significantly cheaper than the Kino edition, so, if you can accept these flaws, you can save a little money this way. |
