Plot
Two movies on one disc!The Green Promise
1949
A stubborn farmer rules his farm and his family with an iron fist, refusing to give into the notion of using any modern farming techniques or technology. When one of his daughters becomes interested in 4-H and the eldest daughter gets a boyfriend, the father becomes even more set in his ways. When an accident on the farm forces the father to be incapacitated, the daughter in 4-H begins to use what she has learned and turns the failing farm around.

A young noblewoman falls in love with the dashing young highwayman who rescues her from her brutal husband. Their romance leads to problems for her when Charles the 2nd is returned to the English throne. This adaptation of Barbara Cartland's novel has an impressive cast including Hugh Grant, Oliver Reed, Michael York, John Mills, Emma Samms and Lynette Anthony.
