Plot
The Lion Man1936
A desert expedition is beset upon by an evil Sheik and his band of marauders, killing everyone except for a young boy who survives the massacre. The lad, the son of a British gentleman, is raised in the desert by a shaman and grows up to become know as "El Lion", a protector of innocents. Having reached manhood, our hero decides it is time to find the man responsible for the murder of his father and to take his measure of revenge.
The Phantom of 42nd Street
1936
The death of a performer at a Broadway stage play brings a theatre critic and a police detective together as an unlikely crime-solving duo. The dead performer's niece becomes not only the object of affection for our critic but also a prime suspect in this death and some other murders that occur at the theatre. The Phantom Killer sets his sights upon the young woman as his next victim so it is a race against time for our heroes to catch the killer.
The Savage Girl
1932
An eccentric millionaire with a fondness for the drink hires a famous African explorer to organize an expedition to the jungles of the Dark Continent. This strange expedition in search of animals to stock the millionaire's private zoo includes a German big game hunter and a London cabbie with his cab to transport the millionaire in the jungle. Once the expedition arrives and they begin their hunt, they find their efforts to capture any animals are being thwarted by a mysterious white jungle girl.
