Plot
Richert's new film features author Alexandre Dumas narrating "Man in the Iron Mask" to an enchanting young lady, who finds the great tale of heroic Musketeers and disguised kings as intriguing as it is seductive. Richert, a seasoned author who penned the film's clever screenplay, adds credence and pop to Dumas' great story by interspersing scenes excerpted from his own interesting version of "Man in the Iron Mask," while details of the author's personal life are cleverly mixed into the screenplay.The end result makes "The Mask Of Dumas" a fascinating, lyrical,some times brilliant and innovative movie that pays as much homage to the author as it does to the story of "Man in the Iron Mask."
