| Plot |
This classic serial features Tarzan, Lord of the Jungle, has left Africa and is taking a ship to Guatemala to search of a missing friend, whose plane crashed near where a legendary ancient city is reported to be. While aboard ship, Tarzan befriends Major Martling and, upon hearing about the expedition he's leading to find the lost city, agrees to accompany him. Major Martling and some other interested parties are searching for the lost city to find the Green Goddess, a jewel encrusted Mayan idol. The travel is hard and treacherous as the expedition tries to reach the lost city and Tarzan hopes to find his missing friend. This film was actually produced by Tarzan creator, Edgar Rice Burroughs.
