Plot

Gene Autry and his pals are amazed to discover a secret underground civilization located below their ranch. A series of unexplained murders draws Inspector Lohmann into the investigation behind the deaths. Piecing together the clues, Inspector Lohmann finds a startling answer to who the madman is behind the killings. Long thought dead, the inspector's archenemy Dr. Mabuse is once again directing his criminal empire towards his goal of world domination, with Inspector Lohmann the only thing standing in his way.

The beginning of "The Phantom Empire" is really poorly edited and God knows where you got this copy. It really is a mess...surely not worth the $3.99 that I paid for it.
