Plot
A double bill of films depicting the passion of Christ. Richard Kiley stars in THE POWER OF THE RESURRECTION (1962), a dramatization of the last days of Christ as seen through the eyes of Peter the apostle.The 1905 silent film THE LIFE AND PASSION OF JESUS CHRIST, directed by Ferdinand Zecca and Lucien Nonguet, features beautifully hand-colored scenes interspersed with title cards--but no dialogue--for a movingly transcendent religious experience. At 44 minutes, it is the earliest known feature length film.
