Two movies on one disc!
The Strangers in 7A 1972 In an uncharacteristically sleazy role, Andy Griffith (Matlock) stars as a landlord with a roving eye, who picks up a young woman in a local bar and brings her home. He is surprised when her friends, a group of armed thugs, show up and take him and his wife, Ida Lupino (Junior Bonner) hostage. The movie ups the tension by viewing the action through the hostages' eyes. Apparently the gang is using their dwelling as a headquarters for staging a robbery, and the couple must wait in captivity to discover the outcome and their fate.
Murder Once Removed 1971 A prominent doctor seems to have it all with a lavish lifestyle and a list of patients that is the envy of his peers. The only problem for the physician appears to be a series of deaths involving some of his female patients. A detective investigating one of the deaths discovers the doctor's connection to the deaths and must try to solve the case before another death occurs. Director: Charles Dubin Starring: John Forsythe, Richard Kiley, Joseph Campanella Run Time: 74 minutes
