Three Came Home
1950
Based upon the accounts of Agnes Keith, this story tells the tale of her and her families' capture by the Japanese in Borneo during World War II and their internment in various prisoner-of-war camps for the entire war. Separated from her husband and forced to care for her son, she and her fellow women prisoners endure forced labor, torture and humiliation at the hands of their Japanese captors. Hoping to be reunited with her husband, Keith prays for day when the family can be reunited.
The Torch
1950
A Mexican revolutionary and his band of men descend upon a small town and take it over. The revolutionary is a Robin Hood-type that forces the local businessmen to bend to his will, while the townspeople admire him for his cause. The revolutionary falls in love with the daughter of one of the businessmen and, despite her disdain for the man, pursues her romantically.
