Nicolas Vanier is renowned in France for the many hats he wears as an adventurous explorer, director, cinematographer, author and entrpreneur! This DVD presents the documentary story of a fantastic adventure that he organized and planned for crossing the real Great White North from Alaska to Quebec. Travel with Vanier as he and his dog pack travel across 8000 kilometers in temperatures reaching -40 degrees Celcius over some of the most beautiful landscapes on Earth in the Far North & the upper Rocky Mountains. Witness frozen lakes and rivers anf the ice barrier in the taiga and tundra. Though Vanier meticulously planned this trip for over 20 years anticipating every possible concern, Mother Nature still had a few surprises in store for his party.
