Disc 1 contains the following 3 episodes:
1. Hammerhead Sharks of the Sea of Cortez - Baja, California is the setting for the study of the Hammer Head Sharks and other marine life including a 20-foot whale shark. An underwater ballet is performed by a giant mantra ray.
2. Sharks of the Blue Waters - Danger ensues while testing a metallic-mesh antishark suit, which provokes sharks into attacking the suit.
3. Sunken Ships and Sharks - The underwater camera journeys to Australia and the Coral Sea where a sunken ship serves as the habitat for numerous sharks and many other forms of sea life.
